Swift Instruments have developed a range of base tensile stages, which can be fully customised and enhanced to suit any application.
Type A EBSD Stage
The Type A EBSD Stage is designed with a tilted stage with rotating jaws, and can test samples at either a 0° flat angle or 70°EBSD angle. Load ranges up to 10kN are achievable with configurations for 2, 5 or 10kN load cells. The stage jaws can reach 26mm of jaw travel.
Type B Flat Stage
The Type B Flat Stage features a lowprofile form factor to fit confined SEM chambers, and can test samples at a 0° flat angle. Load ranges up to 5 SkN are achievable with configurations for 2kN or 5kN load cells.
Type C Miniature EBSD Stage
The Type C Miniature EBSD Stage has been specially developed for small or benchtop SEM chambers, and is configured to test samples at either a flat or 70° EBSD angle. Features a load range up to 2kN. The stage jaws can reach 16mm of jaw travel.

To expand the capabilities of a standard tensile stage, Swift Instruments offer a range of modular options providing a variety of additional Functions.
Controller Software
Our software provides the flexibility of control, data processing and analysis to meet your needs. The Swift Controller Software is compatible with PCs running Windows 7 or later. Test routines can be defined which control the load, temperature and positions of the sample. Results can be displayed and saved for later use.
