The Swift Controller is supplied with extensive software

The Swift Controller is compatible with PCs running Windows 7 or later, and is supplied with extensive software. Test routines can be defined which control the load, temperature and positions of the sample. Results can be displayed and saved for later use. Computer-Controlled Workflow: Program test routines via a drag and drop interface, able to control force and temperature. When testing load, displacement and temperature are recorded, and stress and strain are automatically calculated. Test data can be exported for external analysis. Heating and Chilling: The Swift Tensile Stages can be enhanced with heaters and chillers. Heaters and chillers are available for both the flat and EBSD positions. Samples can be heated up to 800°C in air and 1000°C in vacuum. Chilling can reach to -100°C below ambient.

Tensile stages From Swift Instruments can be customised to suit almost any microscope and application. Our base models offer Flat and EBSD angle Form Factors, and load ranges up to 10kN. Tensile and compression tests can be conducted both in a vacuum and air, and samples and can be optionally heated or chilled. Swift Instruments tensile stages are operated via simple and Fast computer-controlled workflow.
